FINALLY a handbag!

I haven't had a handbag for four months now (I left mine in South Africa). So this is my first attempt at making a handbag. I bought the leather straps at dongdaemun market in Seoul.
Let me know what you think.

Coffee plunger cozy

I made this cozy about two weeks ago. I do realise that everything i make has the same fabric in it:) I'm trying not to waste fabric while I experiment. AND I'm semi-obsessed with these colours at the moment. Give me time, I'll move on soon...
AND if you give me more time i'll make a "how to.." for this cozy.

Yay purse!!

I'm so glad this worked! been wanting to make a purse since I bought the sewing machine. I bought the clasp at Dongdaemun in Seoul - luckily I only had 30min at the market otherwise I would have been bankrupt - it was any crafters dream!

slowly getting somewhere

I found some really nice fabric at the Daegu market on Sunday. So I was inspired to make something. I'm quite proud of my apron - and my husbands photographic skills:)

experiment no.2

Here is another attempt at a baby shoe - made from felt and a bit floopy but its okay. I'll keep trying.
These are ceramics that I found in Insadong - Seoul, at the market. I LOVE them. This is the link to the guys website: http://blog.naver.com/intoyo the cool stuff is from page 3 onwards on his blog.

STEP 3

And then I made these. I'm not 100% happy, although it's okay for my 1st effort. Thanks to my husbands amazing photography skills I think they look pretty good:)

STEP 2

Next thing I did was buy this sewing machine! It's great. It's tiny and probably good for small children to learn to sew on, which is perfect for me because I know practically nothing and really want  to learn. And it's very cute - made in china:)
